How I Unwind & Relax

How I Unwind & Relax

As the end of the year is nearly here, I am finding it so much harder to find a good balance. There have been lots of changes in my life and new projects this year. I am loving the new opportunities but I have found that balance everything, I need to learn to unwind. I’ve learnt that weekends are reserved for unwinding and spending some time focusing on myself. So I thought I would share with you four easy ways to relax and feel more prepared and energized come Monday morning.

1. Pamper Yourself

It is essential to have a good skin routine that you stick to throughout the week however, it is important to take the time to really take care of your skin during the weekend. I love to catch up on tv shows or books while treating myself to a face mask. The face mask I love using is the FaceTox FaceMask. The unique blend of Clay is mixed with rose water and it feels amazing on the skin. It is important to ensure that whatever you’re putting on your skin is safe and actually works and this does. It pulls out all the toxins leaving you with clearer, softer, healthier looking skin. What I love about Facetox Face Mask is that its organic, 100% Cruelty, Parabens free, Vegan Friendly and 100% Natural.

2. Get Enough Sleep

I definitely don’t do enough of this during the week so I do a lot of catching up over the weekend. Getting enough sleep is one of the most important elements in improving your quality of life, so it’s important to rest up. I usually go to bed earlier during the weekend but if I am out the night before, I will have a super long lie in the next morning.

3. Disconnect

These days we are so glued to our phones and laptops and we tend to spend an excessive amount of time in front of a screen. Sometimes, it is important to just disconnect and do something simple and relaxing. So on sunday nights, I turn my notifications off, pour myself a glass of wine, grab a magazine and put on a FaceTox face mask.

4. Exercise

Most of us spend our days at work, stuck at a desk for most of the week. I also find that at the end of the day, I am usually way too exhausted to workout every weekend, I try to get in at least a workout or two. I recently started boxing with a personal Trainer and it is such a great way to work out all of the weeks stress.  Anything that gets your blood pumping will ensure a happier, healthier week ahead.
